About AGWM
Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM) is the global missions arm of the U.S. Assemblies of God, dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission by establishing the Church among all peoples everywhere.
Since its founding alongside the Assemblies of God in 1914, AGWM has focused on four core priorities: reaching the lost with the gospel, planting healthy churches, training national leaders, and serving communities through compassionate ministries.
AGWM missionaries work in partnership with local believers and national churches, recognizing that lasting ministry is most effective when local Christians are equipped to lead and multiply the work.
AGWM Today
Today, AGWM serves in regions around the world through thousands of missionaries and missionary associates who minister in evangelism, church planting, theological education, medical outreach, humanitarian aid, children's ministries, business-as-mission initiatives, media, and disaster response.
Their vision is not simply to send missionaries but to develop self-sustaining, Spirit-empowered churches that can reach their own communities and neighboring nations.
Working alongside the broader global Assemblies of God Fellowship—which includes more than 88 million adherents worldwide—AGWM continues to prioritize taking the gospel to unreached and underserved people groups while mobilizing churches and believers to participate in God's mission around the world.
